Revel in winter with Keen’s Revel IV High Polar Boots

I’m starting to believe that it’s impossible for Keen to make an uncomfortable pair of shoes. I’ve been anxiously waiting for enough snow to fall to take these my Keen Revel IV High Polar Boots on a test drive. Finally, it snowed enough and I went for a walk at the Guild Inn.

The Women’s Revel IV High Polar Boot ($250) is Keen’s latest winter offering. It comes in two colours: Dusty Olive/Rose Dawn (the ones that I have) and Black/North Atlantic. These waterproof winter boots are supremely warm. They have a high profile to keep the snow out, and are made of premium leather. Check out all the details here.

The sole of the boots have built in KEEN Polar Traction. Thanks to microscopic shards of glass filament embedded in the sole, these boots have incredible traction on slippery ice. Inside, the boot uses super warm recycled insulation. The best part about these boots? They require 0 breaking in. I put them on, and they were immediately comfortable, just like my Terradora hiking shoes.

Thanks to the pandemic, I’ve been staying pretty close to home. Luckily, there are tons of parks and outdoor spaces where I can safely distance. That being said, I can’t wait until I can take these boots on a real outdoor adventure or hike at a provincial park! If you’re looking for a new pair of tough and warm winter boots, check out the Revel IV. They also come in a lower profile, and are available for men. Happy exploring!
