If you had told me that I would be sweating it out in a room full of women at a boot camp, I would have told you you were mistaken. It’s not that I don’t like to work out, but I prefer my exercise to feel more like I’m doing an activity. Kickboxing and ballet barre fitness are more my cup of tea.
I’m getting married in July and need to get in tip top shape. I decided to try Fit Chicks because it sounded fun and like I would see results. You can choose to do bootcamp in 4 or 8 week sessions, and they have locations all over the city.
The first two classes that I did were hard work, but varied. We would do a short series of exercises in sets. This was really helpful for me, because I didn’t get bored or tired of repeating the same moment over and over. I had fun, and my body is definitely sore but in a good way! I still have many more classes to go, so I’ll keep you posted!
