I love the CNE, and I’m not alone! Every year, about 1.6 million people head to the CNE with their families and friends. Here’s what you can expect at the Exhibition this year!

Of course, food is a huge deal at the CNE! This summer, visitors can sink their teeth into some interesting new combinations.

Fran’s Restaurant will have a Bacon Croissundae : maple bacon  and vanilla ice cream  sandwiched in a croissant. Or how about a Fried Pig Ear Sandwich: Crispy coated pig ears, coleslaw, maple bacon, cheddar cheese with spicy chipotle  aioli from Farm to Fryer? The 3 S UM Burger is internationally inspired with Italian meatballs, Canadian mac ‘n  cheese, and Greek fries topped with feta cheese, coleslaw and bacon at Corrado’s Authentic Italian.  I personally will be looking out for Cookie Dough Me, where they’ll be serving deep fried cookie dough balls.

Waterfront Shows : The CNE returns to the waterfront for the first time in decades thanks to a $5.5 million  infrastructure investment by the City of Toronto and the Province of Ont ario to rehabilitate the West Channel watersports  course just south of the CNE grounds. New  Waterfront programming features a daily waterfront show,  The Great Canadian  Water Ski Caper , the  Nautique Canadian Wakesurf Nationals on opening weekend (August 19  to 21), and the  Nautique  WWA Wakeboard World Championships (August 25 to 28)

Food Truck Frenzy & Craft Beer Fest :  One of Canada’s largest food truck rallies just got bigger with six NEW food trucks  ready to  take position along Princes’ Blvd. from Aug ust  26  to 28 ! Foodies can rejoice in 25 unique offerings from Toronto’s  trendiest food  innovators  including  FeasTO  and  Made in Brazil ,  previous  winners of Food Network Canada’s Food Truck Face O ff . Enjoy a  refreshing cold one in the heart of the Food Truck Frenzy from 10 local master brewers including  Muskoka Brewing Inc., Wel lington Brewery , and  Beaus All Natural Brewing Company.

67th Annual Canadian International Air Show:  The excitement  of the CNE culminates on Labour Day Weekend as the thrilling  Canadian Int ernational Air Show (CIAS) soars over Lake Ontario for another awe – inspiring  show featuring  performances by  the  Breitling Jet Team, CF – 19 Hornet , U.S. Navy F/A legacy Hornet, The Grumman Mohawk, Canadian Forces Snowbirds and  many more!
