Where to Stay: Lofts at 99
Lofts at 99 is located above a bar, but don’t let that deter you. When we checked in, it was late at night and the bar was loud and filled with customers. However, when I walked up the flight of stairs and down the hallway to my room, it was silent. Despite the room being so close to the bar downstairs, we couldn’t hear a peep from the bar, which was great. (more…)

Currently this park is my favourite place to camp! Hardwood Hills is my campground of choice. I love the huge old growth trees. Mazinaw Rock is gorgeous and it features over 260 Aboriginal pictographs. You can also hike it! (more…)
Growing up, my family and I would take lots of road trips in the summer time. We usually drove to Buffalo, Florida, Georgia, Boston….lots of US towns.
Now that I’ve made it my mission to explore Ontario and more of Canada, I really like taking my family with me to see what’s in our own backyard, so to speak.
For the May 24 long weekend, we headed up to an area that none of us had been to before- Grey County. Grey County is a huge area best known for Blue Mountain, apples and waterfalls. Our trip began in Flesherton, Ontario. We stayed at a wonderful cottage resort, Cedars of Lake Eugenia. (more…)
