I’m a traditionalist bacon lover. I love bacon, but give it to me the old fashioned way. I don’t need it to be dipped in chocolate, or deep fried, or caramelized. Just pure, delicious bacon, as a side or on a sandwich is perfection for me.
That’s why I like Rashers. Rashers just opened their second location on Ossington. Here, bacon is a delicious, pure art, presented in the form of sandwiches. (more…)

I spent a weekend driving around a Ford Fiesta, and I think that I’m in love. I first came across the Ford Fiesta ST at the Toronto Auto Show in 2014. I really liked the bright green hatchback, but didn’t have the opportunity to drive it.
Thanks to my friends at Ford, not only did I get to spend a weekend driving it, but I got to do my favourite thing- eat! Toronto is a pretty big city, and it’s so easy to spend your time tucked away into one specific area of the city.
People often describe themselves as an East Ender, or a West Sider, and nary the two shall meet. Enough of that. Toronto is meant to explore…and what better way than to eat your way through it? I visited 6 boroughs of the 6ix and I bring you my favourite food spots. (more…)

1 tsp Organic honey
½ tsp Fresh ginger juice
Combine pineapple juice, Thirsty Buddha coconut water, ginger juice and vodka in cocktail shaker. Shake to combine. Pour into serving glass. Add a touch of honey and add lime juice. Top off with mint leaves and enjoy!
It feels like someone flipped the switch from spring to INSTANT SUMMER. It’s so hot in Toronto that I just want to be lying in front of a fan (or a beach, maybe?) all day long.
If you’re looking to cool off like I am, then this post is for you. David’s Tea has a bunch of new iced teas to keep you cool all summer long. The Boardwalk Collection ($28) features 5 sweet teas for summer. (more…)
