It’s been 5 years since the very first Toronto Cider Festival was held in Toronto, and I’m still just as excited as I was then. Cider is my drink of choice, and I’ve loved watching the craft cider industry grow over the past few years.
This year, the Toronto Cider Festival will be held at Sherborune Common, near the waterfront. Guests will be able to sip on over 100 ciders from 33 cideries across Canada and the US. Participating cideries include: Lonetree, Ironwood, Brickworks Ciderhouse, Pommies, Spirit Tree, Ernest Cider, Muskoka Lakes and more! Click here to see the full list.
The festival kicks off with Country Night on Friday, featuring Alessia Cohle and her live country band,
along with DJ Moonshine from the RockNHorse. Those with VIP tickets will get early admission to Friday Night, a commemorative sample mug, and 10 sample tokens along with a Limited Edition 2019 Key to the City and 225 exclusive membership.
On Saturday afternoon, there’s a Waterfront Day Drinking Session with musical entertainment. In the evening, there’s a VIP session presented by Lonetree Cider that will include cider and food pairings. It also comes with a commemorative sample mug and 10 sample tokens.
I’m giving one lucky person the chance to win two tickets! You must be 19+ to be eligible to win. If you don’t win, you can purchase tickets www.torontociderfestival.com. Enter below for your chance to win!

In this beer obsessed world, I’m so happy that cider has found a place to grow and get bigger and bigger. I’m not knocking beer, but cider is my brew of choice. (What’s yours?)
My favourite drinks festival is back for 4th year of spreading the cider love! The Toronto Cider Festival will happen on August 24th & 25th at the Sherbourne Common, right by the waterfront.
This festival is tons of fun and a great way to get exposure to new ciders that you may not have tried before. There’s nothing better than spending a summer evening sipping cider next to Lake Ontario. This year the theme is wild Western and each session will have over 100 taps of cider available.
It’s almost Ontario Cider Week! From May 27th to June 4th, this week is devoted to celebrating local cider. This is my favourite week, because cider is my preferred drink of choice. Cider is rapidly becoming more popular in Toronto, which is awesome to see.
I’m really excited to share this event with you! The Craft Cider Cruise brings together 12 cider companies and 1 brewery for an evening cruise along Lake Ontario on June 5th, at 7pm. This 3 hour boat ride is $40 and includes a commemorative mug along with four sample tokens that can be used at one of the participating cider companies for a 4oz sample of your choice. There will also be some tasty bites to buy on board.
Participating cider companies include: Pommies, Forbidden, Spirit Tree, Thornbury, Revel Cider, Shiny Apple Cider and more.
Sounds like fun? Grab your ticket here before it sells out!
