Taste of Toronto is around the corner!

Do you have a bucket list?
According to a recent survey by Vision Critical, 47% of millennials (18 to 34) had adventure experiences on their life lists, followed in second place with 35% of Generation Xers (35-54).
I definitely fall within that 47%! My bucket list is streamlined by age so that I have specific dates to work towards. Like my 30th birthday!
How about putting those bucket list goals towards a good cause?
From now until May 2016, you’re invited to commit to skydiving, bungee jumping, ziplining, indoor skydiving, racetrack car lapping, riding a hot air balloon or whatever your heart desires. Choose your activity, and then get donations from family or friends, or by hosting events, individuals will raise money for Parkinson’s with encouragement from an individual partner living with the condition.
“We knew there was a desire to give; and sensed there was a desire to give differently,” [says] Jon Collins, Senior Manager, Events and Partnerships at Parkinson Canada. “Many Canadians – particularly millennials – are eager to try new and different things.”

I have a love for urban exploring that I rarely get to indulge. So, when I heard about Casa Loma’s newest Escape Game, I was really excited. Casa Loma is a legend and historic site in Toronto. This sprawling mansion has been the scene of many events and beautiful weddings.
This winter, people will flock there for a very different experience. King of the Bootleggers is set in the 1920s and takes you through the tunnels beneath the castle. (This is all I needed to be into this. Tunnels and flappers. Yes, and yes.) (more…)
