My wedding is coming up in less than 60 days! One of the most challenging aspects of my wedding for me has been menswear. Menswear is not my forte, so I was happy to leave suit selection up to the experts! I’ve been dying to use Indochino, and this wedding is my chance.
Indochino is a made to measure menswear brand. Customers are able to choose colours, fabric, suit lining, lapel style and more. Men can visit a showroom in Toronto or Vancouver in Canada. At the showroom, you can see sample suits, colours and fabrics. You can also get custom shirts made.
As you can image, Indochino is super popular for weddings. Made to measure suits are perfect for the groom and groomsmen. There are tons of fabrics and colour to choose from. I can’t wait to show you what our custom suit looks like when it’s ready! In the meantime, I’ve gathered some of my favourite wedding looks from Indochino below. (more…)
Brill Communications held their annual Holiday 2016 and Spring Preview 2017 at the One King West Hotel. There was a variety of holiday treats, and items to look forward to for the new year. Here are some of my favorite.
ECCO COOL 2.0
Ecco has come out with a new innovate shoe that’s not practical but stylish as well. Ecco Cool 2.0 is a perfect shoe for those rainy days when you don’t want to pull out the rain boots, and still want to wear stylish sneakers with a button up blouse. The sneaker comes in black, pink, and white for women. The shoe is cool and breathable for all day wear, and although there are many holes in the design, the shoe is 100%waterproof. Available Spring Summer 2017
Conair has lots of new sparkly (literally) things in store for perfect holiday gifts! My favorite is the diamond infused hot paddle brush. This large brush is great for those with thicker hair which can take forever to straighten. With this paddle brush not only are you straightening your hair, but you are brushing it as well which is definitely a time saver. Some cool features of the brush are the diamond ceramic technology, as well as the silicone bristles for added shine. The brush can go up to 400 degrees, as well as heat up in 30 seconds. (Brush pictured on the left).

Fashionable and affordable brand express will get you holiday ready with their variety of sparkles, velvet, and suede clothes. My personal favorite are the sparkly jumpsuits and velvet booties which are popular with several New York editors.
The holidays can come with a lot of traveling, and with traveling comes lost luggage which can definitely put a damper on any holiday. Rimowa luggage brand just made your trip easier with a new digital check in for your luggage with the Rimowa electronic tag. Simply use your smart phone to check in and avoid lines. The addition can be found in select Rimowa models, and the feature is currently in the works for North American airlines.
Here’s one more reason to love H&M! They’ve opened with first store in Ontario to carry the H&M HOME collection. The collection includes candles, bedding, dishware, pillows, bathroom items and so much more. The huge addition covers more than 58,000 square feet, making it one of the top 10 largest H&M stores in the world! I had the chance to attend the launch party and check out the collection. I loved the pineapple candles, fresh prints on the bedding and hexagonal candle holders. Check it out below! (more…)
Yesterday Preloved hit the runway at World Master Card Fashion Week with their Spring Summer show called Twenty. The collection was fun with up-cycled materials, and consisted of dresses, skirts and leisure wear. My favourite piece was a sweatshirt with a giant red heart. Take a look!
La Vie en Rose started carrying Halle Berry’s lingerie line, Scandale, this summer.
Scandale Paris was founded in 1932 and was rediscovered by Halle Berry, who loved the brands timeless French chic, and wanted to introduce the brand to female consumers around the world.
The collection is available exclusively at la Vie en Rose Outlet and online, and features almost 50 styles of bras and panties ranging in price from $9.95 to $25.95. I tried the Scandale Paris Dream Bra. (more…)
Soia & Kyo debuted their spring collection at World Mastercard Fashion Week in muted tones of khaki, tan, white and yellow. Jackets ranged from trench coats, to blazers, to full length macs. One print was shown, a textured black and white birch like print that I really liked. I also loved the glimpses of the beautiful patterned lining inside of the jackets.
