The Drake Summer Menu


Summer is halfway through, and if you haven’t been to the Drake Hotel patio yet, then you’re missing out.

The Drake Skyyard is arguably one of the best patios in the city. Combine that with its artistic atmosphere and delicious food, and you’ve got a winner.

This summer, they’ve launched the Drink Well program. Think, bottle service but cocktails.


This craft cocktail service comes complete with the ingredients for the classic Drake cocktails, a step-by-step instruction list and snacks. I learned how to mix up a Dark n’ Stormy. It was lots of fun, and I forsee everyone loving this service.

Next, we tried some of the new summer dishes.


PAN SEARED PICKEREL ($27) Fresh Ontario pickerel, salad of fennel, arugula, pickled cipollini onions, sourdough croutons, white anchovies + sherry vinaigrette


BEETS & BLUE CHEESE SALAD ($15) Ontario stilton, roasted beets, fresh raspberries, toasted sunflower seeds,living watercress + avocado cream


ALBACORE TUNA CEVICHE ($13) Avocado & charred scallion puree,ancho oil + tortilla


This housemade strawberry baklava was a favourite dessert of mine!
