1-IMG_20140429_181534744 1-IMG_0884The excitement in the king street loft space was palatable as Toronto’s foodies gathered to hear news of Toronto’s newest food festival. Taste Toronto is coming to Toronto on July 24- 27 to Fort York.

Brought to you by the same people that host Fashion Week each year, Taste Toronto is bound to be a smash hit.

Taste started 11 years ago in London, and today it takes place in 22 cities around the world. The fact that Taste is in Toronto is not by chance. It’s because Toronto has an incredible amount of talent, restaurants and food stories. We have energy and openess to try something new.Β  Taste is all about trying new amazing food and drink and opening yourself up to new experiences. Toronto is the first city in North America to have Taste.

The evening offered a Taste of Toronto itself! Mason jar cocktails and passed apps were devoured. Here’s what we munched on!

So excited to attend this in Toronto, the food at that launch event was absolutely amazing! What was your favourite dish? Mine was easily the lamb bolognese crostini though the whitefish ceviche was a close second!
