There’s nothing quite like hunting for dragons in a Gothic castle. I was invited to play the newest escape room from Secret City Adventures. Casa Loma Escapes executes my favourite escape room in the city. You can’t beat the location, and the story is always epic and fitting for a castle. The Dragon’s Song is their newest adventure. It brings together elements of fantasy, puzzle solving, teamwork and technology into one hands-on action packed game. (more…)
I have a love for urban exploring that I rarely get to indulge. So, when I heard about Casa Loma’s newest Escape Game, I was really excited. Casa Loma is a legend and historic site in Toronto. This sprawling mansion has been the scene of many events and beautiful weddings.
This winter, people will flock there for a very different experience. King of the Bootleggers is set in the 1920s and takes you through the tunnels beneath the castle. (This is all I needed to be into this. Tunnels and flappers. Yes, and yes.) (more…)
Note: This brunch has changed for the worse, and I would not recommend this for 2015.
Treat your mama to a delectable brunch at Casa Loma! This splurge is truly worth the $51.00 (plus tax). You are greeted with a delicious mimosa, and things only go up from there! It was the best brunch I ever had, (second going to this place. ) They had a breakfast, salad, pasta, carving and of course, dessert station. My favourite was the breakfast station, especially the scrambled eggs with goat cheese, basil and cherry tomato. After brunch, you get to wander the beautiful grounds and take some pictures! (admission is included) Don’t take my word for it, read the menu! It’s sure to impress your mom! Mine loved it.
