This summer, I took my KEEN Mercer MJ CNX shoes and down the West Coast, and they quickly became one of my favourite pairs.
The Mercer MJ CNX is a low profile, sporty mary jane with feminine style. It features a proprietary, lightweight PU midsole, allowing the foot to move naturally. Multi-directional flex grooves on the sole enable more natural motion, and an integrated, contoured arch and metatarsal ridge provide underfoot support.
I took these shoes across the Golden Gate Bridge, to the beach in Portland & Santa Monica, and to Pike Place Market in Seattle.
(I also inexplicably wore them a lot with socks, and for those photos I apologize.)
The KEEN Mercer MJ CNX are super comfortable to wear! They bend with your foot and have a contoured arch. The shoe is comprised of mesh and suede, with a rubber sole. The strap is adjustable. These shoes are available in black, red, brown and blue for approx $100.
The Good
- They are so light! They only weigh 8 ounces. Very packable.
- Breathable so your feet won’t get hot
- Stylish enough to wear with a skirt or pants!
- Unbelievably comfortable
The Bad
- They tend to get a little dusty, especially the black
- The mesh webbing can be a little delicate.
The verdict? These shoes are adorable, comfortable and perfect for spring/summer. Take them along for your next vacation, or wear them while strolling around in your city.
