Ah, Fashion Week. Toronto fashionistas get to preen and be seen. What could be better? Last night, I checked out Soïa & Kyo, the brain child of Ilan Elfassy. This Montreal line gets its name from Ilan’s admiration of Japanese culture, and loosely stands for “beginning today”. The 2012-2013 collection features fur trim, bold cuts and structured hoods.
Models toted bundled blankets held by leather straps and donned fur trapper hats. The colours were mostly muted greys, khakis and browns, with a smattering of reds and mustard tones. Check it out!
