Burt’s Bees has come up with a fun and innovative way to launch their first line of lipsticks! Artists from all around Canada have been invited to create art using Burts Bees products.
“SHADES is a perfect intersection of art, beauty, and nature,” says Carolyn Hungate from Burt’s Bees Canada. “It’s an opportunity for Canadians to experience and purchase unique creations by some of the country’s brightest artistic talent while at the same time showing their support for a worthy cause. We’ve tried to strike a balance between our commitment to conservation efforts and sustainability and our natural sense of playfulness.”

Not your typical art supplies.
The talented artists are below.

Melanie Gausden, Guelph, Cortney Stephenson, Toronto, Brooke Friendly, Thornhill,
Chrissy Poitras, Toronto, Taisha Teal, Vancouver, Claire Sower, Vancouver, Meags Fitzgerald, Montreal, Antoine Tavaglione, Montreal, Jessica Gorlicky, Marc Cooper, Toronto
At the exhibition called Shades, you have the chance to check out all of the art. I really like the below pieces!
See something you like? All pieces will be available for purchase, with proceeds going to Wildlife Preservation Canada.
At the gallery you’ll be able to see all 14 shades of the new lipstick collection.
The best part? You’ll get a sneak peek of the lipsticks and get to take one home with you!
I’m in love with the packaging, and the silky smooth feel of the lipstick. It’s so moisturizing.
SHADES will be on display at Arta Gallery in Distillery District from February 27 to March 11. Don’t miss the chance to check it out!
