When planning a wedding, no detail is too small. From the perfect cake to the jaw dropping dress to the something blue, no detail is missed. One thing that is often overlooked in scent! Scent is very important. It just takes one whiff of the right scent to bring back memories of your wedding day. I wanted to find the perfect fragrance to spritz on my wedding day, and the ultra romantic Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet fit the bill!
First, lets talk about the bottle. I’m a huge fan of bows, so I’m in love with the oh so delicate silver bow that adorns the bottle. The light pink shade also fit well with my wedding colour scheme, navy blue and blush.
But more importantly, the scent! I love the way that Blooming Bouquet smells. My favourite perfumes are fruity ones, and bergamont is my ultimate favourite scent. This fragrance has top notes of fresh Calabrian bergamont and heart notes of Damacus rose and peony.
My bouquet was filled with peonies, so this scent was perfect in so many ways. It also has elements of white musk for a lingering, romantic finish.
I wore this on my wedding day and during my honeymoon for special dinners out. Now, I will retire the bottle and will bring it out for special wedding related celebrations. What did you wear on your wedding day?
