In December, my goal in life is basically to consume as many cookies (particularly shortbread) as I can. I often arrange cookie swaps to fuel this goal and to acquire lots of cookies to share with my family and friends! It’s good to have a go to recipe that you can whip up easily and modify as needed so that you can bake at the drop of a dime!

I found a recipe like that, and I’m going to share the magic of Becel Anything Goes Cookie Dough. The recipe is super simple. From one dough, you can get an endless array of cookies. With the addition of a few ingredients, this dough can become gingerbread, apple spice and more! This make it the perfect recipe to have on hand for cookie swaps and last minute parties.

Using this dough, I made Mocha Crinkle Cookies. These cookies came out rich and moist, and very chocolate-y. Here’s how to make them!

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190° C). Combine flour, baking soda and salt in medium bowl; set aside.
  2. Beat Becel® Buttery Taste margarine with sugars in large bowl. Beat in eggs and vanilla until blended. Gradually add in flour mixture; beat just until blended. Stir coffee granules into milk. Stir milk mixture and cocoa powder into dough. Drop by tablespoonfuls into confectioners sugar; roll to generously coat. Arrange on ungreased cookie sheets.
  3. Bake 8 minutes or until edges are firm. Cool 2 minutes on wire rack; remove cookies from sheets, cool completely.
  4. Enjoy!
