I’ve been dying to use my Jaswant’s Kitchen Starter Kit to cook up something delicious, and this week I finally had time!
I picked the Grilled Curry Shrimp recipe and made it with some slight modifications. It was really fast and easy! Ready?
Ingredients
18 Medium Sized Shelled & De-veined Shrimp
1 ¾ tsp Jaswant’s Kitchen Curry Powder
½ tsp Garlic powder
½ tsp salt
1 tsp Olive oil
Instructions
1. If using wooden skewers be sure to soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before use. I used metal ones!
2. In a large bowl, put shrimp, garlic powder and curry powder over shrimp. Mix well. Let stand 15 minutes or longer for better flavour.
3. Skewer shrimp and then drizzle with olive oil.
4. Place in oven at 450 degrees for approx. 10 minutes on the broil setting.
5. Grill in oven until colour turns pink. Check often so that you do not over cook them! I was really paranoid about this so I kept checking the oven.
6. Take out of oven and enjoy! Serve with rice or naan.
