Hotel Metro in London, Ontario

I have this weird thing where I like to look up boutique hotels in different cities, so I know where I would want to stay if I ever visited. (Clearly I have too much spare time.)

Hotel Metro was on my list ever since I came across them years earlier online. So, I was really happy to see that I’d been booked into the Hotel Metro for my visit to the Food & Wine Show! Hotel dreams do come true.

IMG_9492I loved almost everything about the room. I loved the purple accents and the muted colours. I loved the leather headboard and the comfortable mattress.

January 20147The bathroom has Aveda toiletries, and there is a K-Cup coffee machine and an abundance of plugs. The bed is really comfy!

IMG_9496The bathroom has a really cool, open concept but it’s probably best for couples sharing a room. The rainfall showerhead in the shower is really nice.

Cute door hanger!

January 20144The lobby has a funky design and you can make your own free drinks with their machine. Hot chocolate, anyone? The front desk staff are also very friendly.

The hotel is just steps away from the Covent Garden Market and some delicious restaurants like the Blu Duby and the Early Bird. I would definitely stay here again!
