I’ve been a little silent recently, but I have a good reason. I got married! It was a perfect day, and as an added bonus, I didn’t trip down the aisle. I added lots of fun touches to my wedding, and I’ll be sharing some of the crafty things that I did in a series of DIYs. I’ll also be sharing photos and more details about the day soon!
My wedding had a nautical theme, and I had very specific ideas for how I wanted my wedding to look and feel (I don’t want to say that I was a bridezilla, but I was definitely a touch bridezilla.) I love programs at weddings, and I always keep mine and take them home.
I decided to create a two page double sided program that would be bound together with twine. I tested out several papers before I settled on a marbled blue cardstock for the cover, and a plain white cardstock for inside. I based the design on the invitation design that my lovely sceenprinter created for me.
The Epson Expression EcoTank was perfect for the job! This little baby does it all. It can scan, print and copy. Best of all, it’s eco friendly. Instead of using cartridges, it has refillable ink tanks. With it’s double sided printing, I knew that it would be perfect for the job.
I printed 180 copies of each sheet, scored and folded each page and then tied them together with nautical twine. I loved how they came out! What do you think?
