The Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro is a lifesaver for pet lovers

This is Newton, my cat. We think that he’s got a bit of Norwegian Forest cat in him.

He likes to sleep in funny positions. He likes boxes and running to the door whenever someone opens the front door. If he’s happy to see you, he’ll stand up backwards on his hind legs. He likes falling asleep in your lap.

He also loves to get his fur everywhere. We’re constantly finding bits of fur. If he sits on you, it’s fur city. We brush him tons, but the fur keeps spreading. I’m actually slightly allergic to cats, so try my best to keep the house as fur free as possible (as it can be with a cat.)

Enter the Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro. Bissell totally understands that sometimes, our furry friends can be a bit more fur than friend. I’m often out and about, and don’t have much time to clean. The Crosswave can mop and vacuum at the same time, saving me valuable time.

This vacuum is powerful, and compact! It arrives packaged into a compact box. Just attach the handle to the vacuum, take off a few labels, and that’s it, you’re ready to go.

Using the Crosswave is intuitive. The controls are right at your fingertips, and you can switch from area rug to hard floors with the flick of a switch.

When you switch to wet mode, you add a tank. When the water tank is full, the solids and liquids are separated, so that you aren’t accidentally throwing kitty kibble down the drain along with the water when you dump it out.

Thanks to the Crosswave, I was able to clean up quickly and easier. On hardwood and linoleum, the Bissell washes and vacuums at the same time. It was great at picking up bits of kitty litter and food.

Newton has pretty long hair, and the Crosswave can suck up hair that’s up to 8 inches long. I was shocked by the amount of hair and fluff that the Bissell captured while vacuuming a seemingly hair free carpet. It did an awesome job.

When you’re all done, cleaning the Crosswave itself is pretty easy. You place it in the tray, add water, and it cleans the brush roll and the inner plastic cover.

Why I love it:

  • It’s light, stylish and does a great job capturing all of Newton’s wayward hair
  • It’s compact but powerful, and stores away easily
  • It can wash and suck up particles at the same time. It’s way easier than vacuuming and then mopping.
  • Your hardwood floors and carpet look almost brand new after use!

The Bissell Crosswave saves you time, so that you can spend more with your furry friends. See it in action below, or check out the Bissell Crosswave here.
