Kikkerland is such a fun brand. I’ve been a big fan for a long time. I first discovered the brand through their travel gear (super handy luggage scales and packable laundry bags have been a lifesaver!). Now that I’m a homeowner, I’m finding fun and useful ways to use Kikkerland day to day life.
This is the tool that I didn’t know I needed until I discovered it. I have a mini herb garden that’s constantly producing basil, oregano, mint, thyme and parsley. This handy herb multi tool is able to chop herbs with it’s curved blade, strip herbs of leaves (I’m looking at you, thyme) and can zest in a pinch. It’s also able to peel citrus and open bottles.
Ultra Bright Cabinet Light
Our kitchen doesn’t have a window to the outside, so we rely on the ceiling lights to make our kitchen bright. However, there are just some spots that are still too dark. Kikkerland has a handy under cabinet light that sticks to any surface and will illuminate dark spaces with the push of a button. We put these under a cabinet so that it lit up our counter space. It’s now much easier to see when I’m prepping food on the counter.
Stackable Bag Clips
These colourful bag clips have been lifesavers. They are well made a study, and can keep your bag of chips or veggies fresh. It beats using twist-ties. The best part is that they clip together when not in use, so are easy to find.
Major Space Saver
My home is roomy, but I have lots of stuff, which makes space tight. This collapsible bucket is a major space saver. I don’t use this bucket very often, so I love that it folds right down when not in use for easy storage. When I need it again, I just pop it open and it’s good to go. Genius.
Cute ice cubes can make any drink memorable. I especially love this nautical themed ice cube tray. The flexible tray can dole out ice cubes shaped like dolphins, whales, turtles, octopus, fish and sea horses. I use them when I’m having guests over for an unexpected surprise.
