Okay, lets take a deep breathe because it’s almost time for the holidays! I love all of the holiday beauty collaborations, and will be sharing my favourite ones here. The first one I want to share is QUO! QUO held a lovely holiday event at the oh so delicious Cluny Bistro.

Last weekend I spent a beautiful day hanging out in Woolwich, Ontario baking up a storm with Canola Eat Well. It was so much fun! Although I’m no stranger to baking, I must admit that I had never given much thought as to where canola comes from, so I was happy to have the chance to get up close and personal with it. Canola is grown by over 43,000 family farmers on the Canadian Prairies. Chefs and cooks choose canola oil because it’s local, healthy, versatile. (more…)
Don’t tell anyone, but I think I may have a new favourite afternoon tea. The beautiful Holts Cafe at the Holt Renfew in Yorkville now serves afternoon tea! I can’t think of a more convenient and delicious way to relax after a day of shopping. (more…)
A meal at Pukka is always a good idea. It’s my favourite Indian restaurant in the city, and one that I repeatedly return to with family and friends to celebrate special occasions! I was invited to check out their winter menu, and I did so gladly.
We started with some of their cocktail creations. My favourite was the Varnassis Sling, in the tall glass topped with foam. It’s rum mixed with tropical flavours of mango, orange and cherry, and then topped with flower petals. Very fruity and delicious. Pukka also has an impressive wine selection, hand chosen by Peter Boyd, their talented Sommelier. (more…)
