I’m not really into sports, but I’m a big fan of all the food that goes along with spots. Think nachos, burgers, and other delicious bar eats.
Enter, Real Sports Bar, a mecca for sports fans, but also food fans! I had been here a couple of times in the past for non-sporting events, and had tried some of their food. (Shout out to the amazing Buffalo Chicken Pizza that I devoured!)
I was invited to try their brand new menu that will be launching this week! (more…)
I have the sneaking suspicion that the staff at Maman recognize me. And it’s not for a cool reason, like, “Oh, that’s the girl that always wears the pretty vintage shoes!” No, it’s more like, “Oh, that’s the girl that’s here like, all. the. time.”
I can’t help it though. If you worked within walking distance of Maman, I’m sure you’d be here all the time too.

I never thought I would say this, but I’m starting to love dark floral patterns! They are perfect for fall and can match well with solid colours. From shoes (from Union Jack Boots) to dresses (from Cleo), Here are some of my favourite dark floral prints for fall that made my wish list.
1. This super cute floral dress with neckline cutout from Cleo.
2. Victorian Dr. Martens from Union Jack Boots
3. Floral backpack from Forever 21
4. Feather belt from ModCloth
5. Floral cosmetic bag from Rifle Paper x Le Sportsac
6. Casual Dr Martens from Union Jack Boots
After we were done visiting the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest in Japan, we decided to trek to the snow monkey sanctuary that we had heard of.
The Iwatayama Monkey Park is at the top of Mount Arashiyama. All of the blog posts/travel guides that I had read about this park stated that it was going to be a steep (15 minutes, but I’m whiny) climb. Joy. (more…)
On a lovely evening, Indigo invited me to a night of colourful cocktails and colouring books to explore the newest trend of adult colouring. This is a trend that I can 100% get behind! As an illustrator, I’ve always been a fan of colouring and drawing. I’m so happy to see that its gone mainstream! (more…)
I was invited to an evening filled with curiosities, astrology readings and cloud cocktails to celebrate Ted Baker’s Autumn/Winter collection. The collection features jewel tones and dark florals. Take a look at the magical evening and beautiful collection.
