There’s only one more month of summer left! Are you ready to make the best of it? Bring out your brightest shades and get out there in the sun. Here’s Essie’s newest collection for summer.

On a beautiful weekend in July, Taste of Toronto finally arrived in Toronto.

You can’t truly comprehend how huge Ontario is until you’ve ridden for 10 hours on a train…and are in still in Ontario. It’s amazing to think that in Europe, I would have passed through any number of counties in that amount of time. We are incredibly lucky to have acres of pristine wilderness. This summer, one of my Ontario bucket list dreams came true, and I was able to ride the magical Agawa Canyon Tour Train!
Being in Sault Ste Marie alone was a big deal for me- it was the furthest north that I’ve ever been in Ontario. I was about to travel even further- the train takes you 114 miles away from Sault Ste Marie.
The Jazz Bistro patio is a little oasis in a busy part of the city. Steps from Dundas Square, within minutes you could be relaxing here with a drink in your hand after shopping or just hanging out.
The Jazz Bistro serves up dinner as well as brunch. I sampled bites from their shareable plates menu.
The menu includes Lobster Tacos with Black Bean Spread, Pulled Pork Sliders and Spicy Buffalo Chicken and Cheddar Balls.
I really like the Moroccan vibe that they have going on with the angular tents above. Each evening they have live music. They even have live music during brunch on Sunday. Check out the music schedule.
I would love to return to have brunch or dinner on this rooftop. Would you?
Jazz Bistro is at 251 Victoria Street, Toronto, Ontario M5B 1T8
Last week I was lucky enough to spend an evening listening to July Talk and drinking their new beer at Mill Street Beer Hall. The intimate performance was held on the patio, treating Distillery District visitors that happened to be nearby to a free concert. (more…)
