[Contest] Let’s Go to the Ex!

It’s a bittersweet sign when the Canadian Exhibition is back in town, because it signals the end of summer.
Going to the Ex is one way to end your summer with a bang!

This year, the Ex runs from August 15th until September 1.
Here are my highlights!

Food Truck Frenzy: Aug 22-24!
Situated on Princes’ Boulevard just inside the historic Princes’ Gates, in front of the Allstream Centre and Direct Energy Centre, the Frenzy will feature a wide variety of tasty treats! Frankie Fettuccine, Hogtown Smoke, I Love Churros, The Meatball Shoppe and Nazca are just a few of the trucks that will be there.

The Food Building is always a hands down favourite for me. Almost every food imaginable is here!

Fireworks!
This summer marks the return of fireworks! Fireworks haven’t been at the Ex since Ontario Place shut down. Now you’ll be able to see fireworks nightly at 11pm until August 31st.

Celebrity Guests
Each year, a slew of special guests visit the Ex for demonstrations and more. This year, Chef Michael Smith, Jeanne Baker, Dr. Greg Wells and more will be available to see for free!

Live Perfomances
Get ready to swoon for elementary school favourites Hanson. Hanson is among the many bands that will be performing at the CNE Bandshell. Along with Hanson, you can see Down the Webster, These Kids Wear Crowns, Tim Hicks, Jay Douglas and more.
