As we enter a new year, there will be lots of shared meals with families and friends. It’s not always easy to prepare those meals- especially if you have young children.
Ceri Marsh and Laura Keogh learned quickly how challenging healthy meal-times can be. So they joined forces to create the Sweet Potato Chronicles. This website is full of advice and healthy recipes for feeding your family.
In How to Feed a Family cookbook, Laura and Ceri have selected their very favorite recipes, to create a collection of more than 100 for all ages to enjoy. These are recipes that are tailored specifically to families: they are simple, fast, easy-to-follow, and use ingredients that are readily-available at your local grocery store. Ceri and Laura unveil their tried, tested and true tricks for turning nutritious, sophisticated dishes into kid-friendly masterpieces, that will guarantee you success at meal-time, time and time again.
Today, to help you kick of 2014 in a healthy way, Random House and I are giving one lucky reader a copy of How To Feed a Family! Enter below. This contest is open to Ontario only. Enter by Dec. 31st at 12pm.
San Francisco by OPI brings street chic style with West Coast flair to nails and toes for Fall/Winter 2013. This new collection features a palette ranging from sky and sea-colored hues of blues and gray to reds, burgundies and browns inspired by some of the city’s most iconic elements – Chinatown, the Golden Gate bridge and the Embarcadero.
I was able to review some of the collection! All images are shown with two coats.
Embarca-Dare Ya! is a creamy magenta.
Haven’t the Foggiest
Haven’t the Foggiest is a gorgeous metallic silver.
A-Piers to Be Tan
A-Piers to Be Tan is a brown creme finish. I’m not that fond of brown polish, but that’s okay because this next one is….
In the Cable Car-Pool Lane
In the Cable Car-Pool Lane is a rich burgundy, and one of my favourites in this collection.
I Knead Sour-Dough
I Knead Sour-Dough is a pearly brown.
Incognito in Sausalito
Incognito in Sausalito is an incredibly deep blue that is almost black.
What do you think of the collection? In addition to the above shades, there are also three new Liquid Sand™ nail lacquers in earthy hues of taupe, blue and gray: It’s All San Andreas’s Fault, Wharf! Wharf! Wharf! and Alcatraz…Rocks. Liquid Sand lacquers dry to a textured, matte finish, infused with reflective sparkle.
