If you happen to be driving in Eugenia, and you pass this charming burger stand, you need to stop at County Burger to have the most amazing roadside burger that you’ll ever eat.
Someone casually mentioned that the Shawn Adler, the owner of the Flying Chestnut (amazing restaurant!) owned this burger stall, and I knew I had to visit.
The burgers here are massive 8oz patties made with local beef. They’re huge! Each burger is $5. For $10, you get a side of amazing wedge fries and a drink.
I don’t know what they did to make these fries so perfect. The side is a generous portion of crispy wedges with the perfect amount of seasoning. The burger itself was thick and juicy. I added cheddar cheese for $1. The bun in particular was amazing (I’m a bread fiend). I asked where they got their buns from and got the best possible answer- they are made in house. Amazing, right?
County Burger is at Grey Cty 13, at Pellisier St. in Eugenia.
